Hi, everyone! I'm having a good time mentoring, though I'm not as close with most of my mentees as I had hoped. I did one dinner a while back which worked really well, and I often stop to chat with mentees in the halls when I have the chance. I'm only in in touch on a regular basis with one girl, but most of them seem do be doing well. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get mentees to show up at events? Much appreciated if you do!

I know being a commuter it can be more difficult to find the time to meet with your group of mentees. But keep in mind you don't need to meet up with them on campus - maybe you could offer them a tour of Washington Heights on a Sunday (so there won't be competing events)?
